The FOUNTAIN Project’s HCBT team ignited the spark of innovation at the recent University-Industry Engagement Camp held at Horizon Campus! While carrying the mission to foster awareness of University-Industry collaboration for innovation and to identify groundbreaking ideas and business plans from entrepreneurial students aspiring to establish their startups, student Entrepreneurs got an excellent opportunity to compete with each other to showcase their new inventions to win cash prices.

A panel of academics, entrepreneurs, and business supporters evaluated the business idea presentation competition. The keynote speeches at the event were delivered by Ms.Deshani Gamage, the Director of the APEX Education Center, Matara,  and Engineer Bandula Wickramarachchi, CEO and Director General of the OPEN LAB Pvt. Ltd. Students were also exposed to industry experts at the special industry forum held in the camp.
