The FOUNTAIN Online Impact HUB is a dynamic platform designed to enhance student mobility and facilitate multi-stakeholder inclusive curriculum development across partner universities. This initiative is integral to improving the quality and relevance of higher education programs, aligning them with global standards, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in Sri Lanka and Thailand. The HUB will serve as a central point for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and curriculum verification, ensuring that academic offerings are of the highest standard.
Key Objectives of the Impact HUB
Enhancing Student Mobility:
The primary function of the Impact HUB is to facilitate the mobility of students across higher education institutions by providing a platform for developing, verifying, and showcasing curricula. This ensures that students can move seamlessly between institutions, with their academic achievements recognized and validated across borders.
Supporting Curriculum Development and Verification:
The Impact HUB serves as a standardized tool for curriculum development and verification. It allows universities to develop innovative curricula that meet internal guidelines and accreditation requirements, ensuring that programs are aligned with global standards. Partner universities like P8, P9, and P10, which have more centrally managed University-Industry Collaboration (UIC), will share their expertise with other partners, fostering a collaborative environment for curriculum enhancement.
