January 26, 2024 – The “Dinner Talk 2024,” an event affiliated with the University–Industry Engagement (UIE) Camp, was orchestrated through a collaboration between Naresuan University Science Park and the FOUNTAIN project. Hosted at Topland Hotel Phitsanulok, the event focused on facilitating the exchange of experiences between the university and industry sectors, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and highlighting the Science Park’s endeavors in supporting industrial innovation development. It also sought to promote cooperation between local entrepreneurs and the university.

The event is structured into four primary components:  University Talks, Industry Panel Discussion, Brainstorming Activity, and the Commercialized Research and Development (R&D) Products Showcase.

The University Talks were delivered by three key distinguished speakers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, Acting President of NU; Dr. Phisut Apichayakul, Vice President for International Relations and Technology Transfer; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Somlak Wannarumon Kielarova, The Director of NU Science Park.

The Industry Panel Discussion featured five esteemed panelists and a moderator: Miss Paya Tharawut, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries, Phitsanulok; Mr. Pakorn Dansithong, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Phitsanulok; Miss Wansiri Nimpitakpong, Vice President of the Lower-North Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions (MICE) Association; Miss Kanoknart Likitpraiwan, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce (YEC), Phitsanulok; and Miss Porngam Liamsiriwatana, Managing Director of North wind Aleenta Co., Ltd. and Parliamentary Expert (as moderator).

Additionally, the event facilitated a brainstorming activity to collect data for UIE initiatives and showcase research products developed by students and researchers. This exhibition served to demonstrate and promote the university’s potential to create and produce commercialized products catering to the research and development (R&D) needs of industries.
