The FOUNTAIN Meeting held on 27th March 2026 was a full-day collaborative session that brought together project partners to review progress, exchange insights, and plan future directions. The day began with registration followed by welcoming remarks from Prof. Ranjith Dissanayake, setting the tone for the meeting.

The official opening was delivered by the FOUNTAIN Project Coordinator, Prof. Guttila Yugantha Jayasinghe, who highlighted the importance of collaboration and the project’s ongoing impact.

Throughout the morning and early afternoon sessions, partners presented updates on the progress of different work packages (WP1–WP7), providing a comprehensive overview of achievements, challenges, and next steps.

These presentations facilitated knowledge sharing and alignment among all participating institutions. After the lunch break, participants engaged in group discussions focusing on the sustainability plan of the FOUNTAIN Project and held a Steering Committee meeting to address strategic decisions and long-term goals.

The meeting concluded with closing remarks summarizing the key outcomes of the day, followed by an informal tea session, allowing participants to network and reflect on the discussions.
