FOUNTAIN Sri Lanka Final Meetings – DAY 5 – UNIVERSITY VISIT & STRATEGIC CLOSURE (29TH MARCH 2026)

The final day focused on academic engagement and institutional collaboration. The morning session was held at the Wallamadam main campus of the University of Ruhuna, where participants were welcomed and given a guided tour of the university facilities.

Following lunch, the program continued with a visit to the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, located in Mapalana, Kamburupitiya, where participants explored academic departments, research facilities, and ongoing innovations. The day also included cultural performances showcasing Sri Lankan traditions, followed by a mini lab visit and product demonstrations. The event concluded with closing remarks and a discussion on future directions, reinforcing continued collaboration among the FOUNTAIN project partners.
