Establishment of center of excellence in entrepreneurship, invention and innovations (Fostering entrepreneurship/ Encouraging collaboration with the private sector/ Promoting diversity and inclusion/ Exploring the nexus of technology and society is led by UOR
Objectives
- To establish a center of excellence in entrepreneurship, invention and innovations and develop a university-industryresearch link to cater the demands of farming community SMEs, plantation and industries. This intends to foster entrepreneurship, collaboration with the private sector, promoting diversity and inclusion
- To organize a University-industry exhibition and Industry career fair
- To establish multimedia advertising lab and virtual product launch studio/ space
- To facilitate consultation service with an online interface for graduate companies
- To integrate the center of excellence with UIC platform
- To plan and manage secondment strategy
Description
Interestingly, the formation of a platform to manage these FOUNTAIN activities is vital in all means. As a solution, using the WP5 of FOUNTAIN, it targets to establish the center of excellence in Agro-industries and develop a university-industry-research link to cater to the demands of farming community SMEs, plantations, and industries. Based on the center of excellence, the WP5 plans to organize a University industry exhibition and Industry career fair, develop a multimedia advertising lab and virtual product launch studio, and facilitate consultation service with an online interface for graduate companies. Moreover, as a significant part of the WP5, the FOUNTAIN plans and manages the secondment strategy accordingly.
